Setting Up

It's Saturday June 7, 2008 and we've gotten the paint all sorted into organized piles for each site. It was a pretty smooth effort yesterday as Skip, Chip, Steve, Braden, and Austin completed the task. Today most of the steering committee, plus a few others, met at 7 am for breakfast and then completing the paint supplies and the hospitality bags. We were done by 10 and so we decided to deliver about 100 footer blocks to about 6 sites. It was a hot task since the weather today is in the 90's...quite unusual for this time of day.
Monday we start set-up in earnest as we visit each site and check all paint and lumber to make sure the campers will have what is needed for the work to be done.
we are very happy that the number of campers is near 400 to be able to complete the projects at all the homes we have determined are in the most need.
